Myrtle Cutbirth

Myrtle Beatrice Cutbirth, age 97, of Odessa, TX, passed away on July 18, 2017 in Odessa.

Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 pm, Tuesday, July 25, 2017 at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home.

Funeral Services will be at 4:00pm, Wednesday, July 26, 2017 at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Clydel Chapman and Gary Cutbirth officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.

Myrtle was born on July 4, 1920 to Johnny and Lilly Shults in Enloe, TX. She worked for Toyland, Bill Sears, Safeway and Piggly Wiggly.

Myrtle is preceded in death by her two husbands, Lee Mack Cutbirth of 52 years and John Collins of 3 years; son, John Cutbirth; two granddaughters, Elizabeth Young and Susan Kendall; parents, Johnny and Lilly Shults; 11 brothers and sisters.

She is survived by her daughter, Judith Young of Odessa, TX, daughter N love, Rhonda Cutbirth of Cypress, TX; grandchildren, Julia Bowman and husband Dennis of San Angelo, TX, Karen Young of Odessa, TX, Gary Cutbirth and wife Teri of Houston, TX; great grandchildren, Christy , Matt, Andrew, Kenzie, Kayce, Tylor, Kyle and Cameron; great great grandchildren, Brittni, Alyzabeth, Angel, Alora, Hazel, Gabriel, Kenadi, Brynlee, Bryce, Bobby and Bella.

Pallbearers are Arron, Matt, Andrew, Kenzi, Dennis, David, Gabriel and Angel.
