Nancy Powell

Nancy C. Powell, 78, of Odessa, passed away on Sunday, October 27, 2013 in Odessa, TX.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2pm, Thursday, October 31, 2013 at Sunset Funeral Home with Rev. Jimmy Braswell officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.

Nancy was born in Odessa on December 3, 1934 to Miles and Nancy Upchurch. She married Thomas Donk Powell in Odessa, TX.

She is preceded in death by her husband Thomas Donk Powell, Parents Miles and Nancy Upchurch, Brothers Miles Upchurch, Richard Upchurch and Bobby Upchurch. Sisters Gwen Richardson and Modena Collins.

Survivors include her son Thomas D. Powell II of Odessa, TX. Sisters Jody Davis of Miami, OK, Edna Close her husband Frank of Grove, OK and Betty Creason of Zuni, VA. And her puppy, Jake.

Pallbearers include Deryn Turner, Ben Spooner, Rowel Lovinggood, Josh Lovinggood and Ron Ledbetter.
