Nancy Ratliff

Nancy Jo Ratliff, 79, of Odessa, TX, passed away on Saturday, September 30, 2017 in Flower Mound, TX.

Visitation will be 6:00-8:00, pm, Friday, October 6, 2017 at Sunset Memorial Gardens & Funeral Home, 6801 East Business 20, Odessa, TX. 79762.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 pm, Saturday, October 7, 2017 at Sunset Memorial Gardens with Reverend Dr. Jimmy Braswell officiating.

Nancy was born in Pampa, TX to Grace Sweeney and Herman Cody on April 4, 1938. She went to school in Odessa, TX. She married Johnny N. Ratliff on August 21, 1954 in Odessa, Texas. She was an Air Force wife so she lived all over the world with her husband and family. She owned several Dry Cleaners in the Lewisville area and Antique stores with her sister in Odessa before moving to live with her daughter back in the Lewisville/Flower Mound area of Texas.

Nancy is preceded in death by her husband, Johnny N. Ratliff, her mother, Grace Sweeney, her father, Herman Cody and her twin sister, Nelda Dickson.

Nancy is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Johnny and Rosa Ratliff of Odessa Texas, her daughter and son-in-law, Kathy and Bill Beatty of Flower Mound Texas, several grandchildren and great grandchildren, her brother and sister-in-law, Bernie and Kay Thomas of Colorado Springs, Colorado and nieces and nephews.
