Natoma "Toni" Webster, age 84, of Odessa, TX, passed away on May 20, 2015 in Odessa.
Visitation will be from 6-8 pm Friday, May 22, 2015 at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home.
Funeral Services will be 1:00 pm Saturday, May 23, 2015 at the Church of Latter Day Saints at 5401 JBS Parkway with Bishop Jimmie Ormsby officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
Toni was born on November 8, 1930 to Adam Hadley Jones and Lela Launa (Christian) Jones in Buffalo, Missouri. She married Douglas Baker in April 1946 in McAllen, TX. They had on daughter, Darlene Kay Williams. After moving to Odessa, they divorced in 1953. While working as a carhop for Frank Green Restaurant, she met Joe Newton Webster. They were married on August 3, 1954. He preceded her in death on January 11, 2014.
She spent most of her life as a homemaker caring for her children. In her earlier years, she enjoyed bowling and sewing. She spent many hours watching her sons and grandsons at their sporting events. She never met a stranger and was kind to everyone she met. Her home was always open to anyone, including those in need. She was famous for her tacos and her many July 4th celebrations. She loved her home of 50 years and all who entered.
Toni is preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Joe Webster and a great grandson, Jayden Scott Carlile.
She is survived by her five children, Darlene Williams and husband Riley of Odessa, Kathy Currie and husband Larry of Granbury, TX, Michael Webster of Odessa, Nanette Carlile and husband Bennie of Crowley and Joe Webster II of Odessa; sister, Nytah Burnell of Brownsville, TX; 14 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be as follows: Riley Williams II, Douglas Williams, Joseph Young, Rocky Carlile, Chad Webster, Ricky Young II, Scotty Carlile, Travis Young, Stephen Young, Zane Webster, Chase Webster and Andrew Perez.
