Nell Mckissack

Nell Jo McKissack, 94, of Midland, Texas, passed away on February 26, 2018 in Midland.
Visitation in lieu of services will be 6-8pm Friday, March 2, 2018 at Sunset Funeral Home in Odessa, Texas. Clark Racca of Hospice will be officiating.
Nell was born in Brookhaven, Mississippi to Thomas L. and Lora Smith on December 21, 1923. She went to school at East Lincoln. She married E.J. McKissack on March 7, 1942. Nell was a devout homemaker, wife, and mother.
Nell is preceded in death by her loving husband of 59 years, sister Joyce and her husband Clifton Crane, brother-in-law R.C. Leggett, and son-in-law Charlie Shipley.
Nell is survived by sister Tommy Leggett, daughters Lynda Shipley, Micki McCulloch and husband Joe, 9 grandchildren and numerous great and great-great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers and donations can be made in honor of Nell McKissack to Hospice of Midland.
