Norma Lawson

Norma Lawson, age 87, was called to her eternal resting place on February 17, 2016 in Odessa.

Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 pm, Friday, February 19, 2016 at Sunset Funeral Home.

Funeral Services will be at 10:00 am, Saturday, February 20, 2016 at Sunset Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Don Norris, of First Baptist Church of Odessa officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.

Norma was born on July 14, 1928 in Mulhall, Oklahoma to Elmer and Verna Lewellen. She grew up in Perry, Oklahoma and married her high school sweetheart Charles Lawson on April 20, 1946 in Winfield, Kansas. She was a homemaker and worked as a secretary for several companies before retiring from Electronic Data Devices of Odessa. She was member of First Baptist Church of Odessa.

Norma is preceded in death by her husband of 46 years and her parents.

She is survived by her daughter, Stephenie Williams and husband Bob of Odessa, sons, Jim and wife Kathy of Odessa, and John and wife Robin of The Colony, Texas, Brother, Jack D. Lewellen of Perry, Oklahoma. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.

Pallbearers will be her grandsons and great grandsons.

The family wishes to extend our sincere thanks to the Doctors and Nurses of Medical Center Hospital Critical Care Unit.
