Norma Shellenberger, 80, beloved mother, grandmother and great grandmother of Odessa, TX was called to her eternal resting place on February 15, 2021. She entered this world on January 1, 1941 in Monahans, TX, born to Floyd Eugene Covill and Mattie Erma Lair.
Norma looked forward every night for three things, cookies, Dr. Pepper, and a phone call from her grandson Dustin. In her younger days she enjoyed traveling and scuba diving. She is now rejoicing in heaven with her husband, grandmother, and father.
She is survived by her daughter, DuRonda Yeager and Chalin Brown of Helotes, TX; and her three sons, Dustin Street and wife Samantha and great grandson, Wesson of Pflugerville, Devan Yeager and great granddaughter, Madden of Midland, TX, and Dylan Yeager and wife Shelby and great grandson, Miles of Boerne, TX, her son Eugene Shellenberger and wife Sherri of Toole UT., their two daughters, Amanda Sierra and husband Pete, great grandson Armando and great granddaughter Cataelya of Wesley Chapel, FL, and Zoie Haines and husband Eric of Toole, UT, and one son, Aiden Shellenberger of Las Vegas, NV; brothers, Eugene Covill, Charlie Covill, Willie Bond; and sisters Luanne Bentley, and Lois North.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Floyd Covill and Erma Zimmerli; husband, Delbert Shellenberger; and sister, Barbara Moore.
Funeral Services are scheduled for 1:00 PM, Monday, February 22, 2021 at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Clydel Chapman officiating.
