Norma Witherspoon

Jeane Witherspoon, 77, beloved mother, grandmother and great grandmother went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Thursday, February 9, 2012. She was born on November 14th, 1934 in Weatherford, Texas to Charles Wesley Kerns and Ernestine Golda Ghramm of Weatherford.

Jeane worked as a bookkeeper for Johnson Brothers Oil Company, Johnson Construction, Totco and the Weatherford Corporation. She lived a sacrificial life placing others and family above herself. She loved the Lord and her favorite bible verse was Philippians 4:13.

She is survived by three sons, Johnny and Kathy Witherspoon of Cooper, Texas Randy and Lynnette Witherspoon of Midland, Texas and Terry and Renee Witherspoon of Wolfforth, Texas. Seven grandchildren: Shelley Witherspoon of Cooper, Texas Kelley and husband Coley Johnson of Midland, Texas Tracy and husband Bobby Rhein of Cooper, Texas Josh Witherspoon and Jacob Witherspoon of Wolfforth, Texas Cpl. Sean Witherspoon of Pittsburgh, Kansas Kristen Witherspoon of Wolfforth, Texas and Hannah McCarroll of Midland, Texas. Four great grandchildren: John Daniel JohnsonWitherspoon, Eli Rhein, Gavin Johnson and Asher Johnson.

There will be a visitation at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, February 13, 2012 at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home, with a funeral service followed at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel officiated by Johnny Witherspoon. Interment at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
