Octaviana Aranda

Octaviana Tabby Aranda, of Odessa, passed away Saturday, April 6, 2013, in Odessa.

She was born March 23,1935 in Presidio,TX and raised in Lovington, New Mexico. She worked as a Health Aide and Tutor for Tulare City School District in Tulare,CA. She attended Thank You God Ministries and was a strong woman of faith. She loved to cook and tend to her garden.

Survivors are her husband Leovaldo P. Aranda. Her 6 children: Librada Zermeno, George Aranda, Leo Jr. Aranda, Xavier Aranda, Charlie Aranda, Elsa Aranda. Her 14 grandchildren: Cassandre Soria, Christina Aranda, Angelina Barraza, Alina Aranda, Ashley Aranda, Alex Aranda, Alyssa Luna, Mathew Aranda, Iza Aranda, Daniella Aranda, Julian Aranda, Misty Aranda, Jermaine Lopez, Janay Lopez and 15 greatgrandchildren.

Visitation with the family will be at 7:00 PM Wednesday, April 10, 2013 at Sunset Funeral Home. Services are scheduled for 11:00 AM Thursday, April 11, 2013 at Sunset Funeral Home Chapel with Gabriel Chavez of Word of Life officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
