Odessa Penn

In the early morning hours of October 4, 2013, Odessa Pearl Penn, 81, went home to be with her precious Lord Savior, Jesus Christ. She was born August 18, 1932 in Texas County, OK to Marvin Bales Kile Hazel F. Wilson Kile. She was married to Bobby Gene Penn on November 26, 1951. She was a longtime resident of Odessa. She was a Baptist and faithful to her Lord and her church, having received Christ as a teenager. She dearly loved her family. She was a retired retail salesclerk, having worked at Cobbs Bealls and Anthonys. She was an excellent seamstress.

Survivors include 3 sons, Ben Penn wife, Diane Terry Penn wife, Vicki, Randy Penn wife, Sharon, one daughter, Sharon Sharp husband, Owen, all of Odessa. Eleven grandchildren, Aaron Sharp and wife, Elaina, of Little Elm, Texas Tosha Skelton and husband, Phil Trish Chavez and husband, Vic Casey Penn, all of Odessa, Kelli Jester and husband Justin of Edmond, Oklahoma Trista and husband Rick Ramsey, of Midland, Texas Brandy Walker and husband, Greg of McCamey, Texas Dallas and wife Michelle, Dustin Penn, all of Odessa, Lindsey Ogletree and husband, Cade of Seagoville Chris Penn of Odessa 8 great greatgrandchildren, one sisterElsie Thurman husband, Ancil of Montague brothersRobert Kile wife, Thomasene, of Elk City, OK Charles Kile of Perryton Roy Kile wife, Nancy of Mckinney Richard Kile wife, Linda of Perryton.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, one brother Harvey Kile, and one sister Mary Wanda Manross.

Visitation will be Monday, October 7, 2013 from 6:008:00 pm at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Tuesday, October 8, 2013 at 2:00 pm at Sunset Memorial Chapel with Owen Sharp officiating.
