With a heavy heart we celebrate the life of Oralia Waddell, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend to many. She was called to her eternal resting place on January 14, 2025, at the age of 72, after her courageous battle with cancer. She leaves behind a legacy of love and devotion that will always be remembered and a void her family cannot fill.

Oralia was born on August 23, 1952, in Brackettville, Texas to Domingo and Engracia Villarreal of Brackettville, Tx. She had a total of 7 siblings: Amada, Bertha, Lupe, Domingo (Mono), Gilberto and Gerardo and Ernesto. She loved all of them dearly and talked about them often.

For 52 years, Oralia was married to her soulmate, George Waddell. Together they built a beautiful life centered on family. They created a lifetime of memories; she was the love of his life. Oralia was a devoted mother to George Jr, Erica and Justin, they were her pride and joy. She was the pillar of her family, known for her unwavering kindness, infectious laughter, and exceptional cooking skills. She was a loving and exceptional mother and grandmother to her babies. She had a beautiful soul that knew no stranger, she would spark a conversation with anyone, anywhere. Her radiant smile lit up every room she entered. She enjoyed talking on the phone, watching novelas, attending her grandbabies sporting events, and dancing with her husband. She also loved the New York Yankees! She lived life to the fullest and above all, lived to spend time with her family and friends.

Although Oralia is gone, she will live forever in our hearts and our memories. She is survived by her husband, George Waddell; her son, George Waddell Jr and wife Jessica Waddell; their children(grandchildren), Kristopher, Katelynn, Damian, Michael, Andrew and Josiah; daughter, Erica and husband Paul Vasquez; their children (grandchildren), Baylinn, Paul JR (PJ) and Marleigh; son, Justin and wife Cassie Waddell; their children (grandchildren), Camila and Cayden; sisters, Bertha Valdez of Houston, Tx, Lupe Villarreal of Brackettville Tx; and brother, Neto Villarreal of Brackettville, Tx; sister-in-law, Zenida Villarreal of DeLeon Tx.
