Ozell Campbell Och, age 69, of Odessa, TX, passed away Friday, March 18, 2016 in Odessa.
Ozell was born July, 12, 1946 in Roscoe, TX to Cecil and Wilma Eulalia Campbell.
Ozell was surrounded by her loving family when the Lord called her home. She was a beloved sister, aunt, mother, and grandmother. Ozell centered her life on her children and grandchildren, and she freely extended that love and kindness to all of their friends. She used her talents as a seamstress to make countless outfits for her kids and even taught some of their friends to sew. She also demonstrated that love in the meals she prepared for her family and the various events that made up her children's lives. From cheering on the sidelines to booster clubs to PTA events, she was always involved and supporting her kids. Ozell was a free spirit and an excellent listener. She was someone who you could sit and talk with for hours, and she had a unique way to make you feel warm. Ozell offered friendship to all those that she encountered.
Ozell is preceded in death by both her parents, Cecil and Wilma Eulalia Campbell, a brother, Cecil J. Campbell and a brother-in-law, John Lane.
She is survived by her son, Quince and his wife Christina Och; daughter, Misty and her husband Todd Hiner; grandchildren, Quinton and Cybil Och and Hailey and Tyson Hiner; one great-grandchild, Vince Villa; brother, Bob and his wife Peggy Campbell and sister, Ann Lane.
A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 pm, Wednesday, March 23, 2016 at Sunset Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Clydel Chapman, officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
Pallbearers are Craig Lane, Todd Hiner, Tyson Hiner, Hailey Hiner, Bob Campbell, Ken Campbell, Quinton Och, Cybil Och and Paul Chenot.
