Pamala Horton

Pamala LaRue Horton, 72, of Odessa Tx passed away on June 20, 2022.

Visitation will be at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home from 12pm to 3pm on Monday June 27th.

Funeral services will be held at 10am on the June 28th, officiated by Brother Dewey Blevins III of Zion Church, at Sunset Memorial Gardens, burial to follow.

Sunset Memorial will be accepting arrangements.

Pam was born in Angleton, Tx to Bessie Bea Pond and Benjamin Lee Horton Jr. on November 28th, 1949. She was a self-employed owner of Horton construction, with her sister Beneva Lynn Horton who preceds her. Pam was very dedicated to her family and always a supporter of our American troops. She had tremendous love for animals, especially horses. She took in all strays, children included.

Pam is preceded in death by daughter Angie LaRue Cottrell; and sons Shannon Dee Cottrell and Charles Kleinhans.

She is survived by the father of her children, Troy Cottrell; son Lennis Deon Ingle; son Chad Aaron Cottrell; daughter Leitha Kay Malczewki, and countless others who called her mom; grandchildren Shandale Cottrell, Brandy Cottrell, Ashley Cottrell, Landyn Cottrell,Tori Cottrell, Kynslee Walker-Cottrell, and Karrie Evans; one and only great-grand son Shannon Cash Cottrell

Pallbearers will include Lennis Ingle, Brent McCord, Lee Vance, Shawn Vance, Zach Evans, Austin Herbel

Memorials may be given to Sunset Memorial. The Family of Pam wishes to extend our sincere thanks during this difficult time.
