Pamela Ann Jenkins (Pam) of Odessa Texas passed away on Friday, September 8, 2023, in Odessa, Texas.
A Memorial for Pam will be held in Fort Worth, Texas at a later date.
Pam Jenkins was born at All Saints Hospital in Ft Worth, Texas on February 14, 1959. She went to school in Fort Worth, Texas. She married Harry Jenkins (Rick) on September 10, 1983, at Oakhurst Presbyterian Church in Fort Worth, Texas. She graduated from Haltom High School in 1977. She graduated from Tarrant County College in 1981.
She worked as a Buyer III for the University of Texas of the Permian Basin (UTPB) for 10 years. She loved working with her many friends there.
Pam lived in several Texas cities throughout her childhood like Fort Worth, Hillsboro, Waco, and Haltom City. She loved traveling to Belgium with her mother and Grandmother learning about their family history. She loved seeing different places. She was always willing to move to different cities with Rick’s career.
She loved going home for the Holidays to visit Family & Friends. The house would be filled with laughter and fun when she, her sister Judy and Mom Wanda all got together. They would share stories about everything.
She loved her I-pad and had it with her all the time. Games like Candy Crush, Pyramid Solitaire and Wizard of Oz were some of her favorites. She enjoyed reading books, HTeaO drinks, Music (XM Radio) going to movies on the weekends with Rick, traveling, game night with Family & Friends. She loved watching NFL and College football with Rick and holding Gypsy & Olive in her lap while Jed was not far away. Her favorite show was Big Bang Theory where Sheldon always made her laugh. Her laugh was infectious. Her favorite celebrities were Neil Diamond & Charlie Waters.
Pam Jenkins is survived by her husband, Harry C. Jenkins, JR. (Rick); son, Antony M. Jenkins and wife Madison E. Jenkins; daughter, Sarah A. Jenkins; her fur babies, cat, Jed Jenkins and dogs, Gypsy Jenkins and Olive Jenkins; sister, Judy K. Chapman and partner, Craig Michalk; dad, Doyle W. Chapman; mom, Wanda R. Chapman; grandchildren, Kaitlin Avalos- Jenkins, Jazmyne Alvarado-Jenkins and Giovanni Jenkins; and numerous friends and neighbors.
Memorials may be given to your favorite Charity. The family of Pam Jenkins wishes to extend our sincere thanks to the UTPB Staff & Police, Odessa Fire Rescue and Medical Center Hospital for all their support during this difficult time.
