Patricia Fry

Patricia Allen Fry, age 85, of Odessa was called to be with her Savior on Sunday, January 8, 2023, in Odessa, Texas.

Visitation will be from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Friday, January 13, 2023, at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, January 14, 2023, at Sunset Memorial Gardens with Reverend Dr. Jimmy Braswell officiating.

Arrangements are entrusted to Sunset Memorial Gardens Funeral Home.

Patricia was born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to Clayton & Claribel Hamm on February 23, 1937. She was a 1955 graduate of Odessa High School. While attending Odessa College she met and married Carlton Fry in May of 1956. As a creative and bold homemaker, she lovingly supported her husband, raised two children, and was enthusiastically involved in the lives of her four grandchildren. She enjoyed music, reading, Dachshunds, creative arts, and genealogy. She passes on to her family a love for learning, conversation, and caring for others. She was a long-time member of St. John’s Episcopal Church and Daughters of the American Revolution.

Patricia is proceeded in death by her parents and husband, Carlton Louis Fry.

Patricia is survived by her sister, Janice Green; her son, Anthony Fry and wife, Della Fry; and her daughter, Monica Fry; four grandchildren, Rhiannon Fry, Hayley Joiner, Patrick Fry, and Meredith Craig; and five great-grandchildren, Clayton Craig, Mason Fry, Hudson Joiner, Benjamin Fry, Brooks Fry.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorials be given to Meals on Wheels or Reading Library of West Texas.
