Patricia Rhodes

Patricia Ann Rhodes, 58, of Odessa, beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, passed away on Thursday, August 24, 2017 in Odessa, TX.

Visitation will be Monday, August 28th from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Sunset Funeral Home in Odessa, Texas.
Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 29, 2017 at Sunset Funeral Home in Odessa, Texas with Reverend Dr. Jimmy Braswell, officiating.

Patricia was born on April 17, 1959, in Pasadena, Texas to Robert A. and Birdie Faye Choate. She married Glen R. Rhodes on August 29, 1998, in Las Vegas, Nevada. Patricia worked as an EMT certified paramedic with the Goldsmith, Texas Fire Department. She was also a student of Aladdin Beauty College. She was a homemaker.

Patricia is preceded in death by her father, Robert A. Choate, her mother Birdie Faye Smith, and a brother Robert Ferguson.

In addition to her husband, Glen, Patricia is survived by a daughter Crystal Jakubik and her husband Eli Jakubik, a son Patrick Palmer; sisters Billie Dean, Mary Smith, and Rose Wooten; grandsons Devin Jakubik and Brayden Jakubik.

Among Patricia's favorite pastimes were travel, fishing, and playing the ponies at Ruidoso Downs. She also loved music, flowers, shopping, fashion, and faithfully visiting the girls at Maggie's Hair Solon.
The family of Patricia would like to extend our sincere thanks to Dr. Raja Naidu, Dr. Khavar Dar, Dr. Anand Reddy, The nurses at DaVita Odessa Dialysis, MCH, ORMC, and Home Hospice, and her best friend/caregiver Lisa Miller.

Arrangements are entrusted to Sunset Memorial Gardens & Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to the charity of your choice.
