Patsy Edson

Patsy Bell Edson, 72, of Odessa, Texas went to be with her heavenly Father, May 28, 2014. She passed away at Madison Medical Resort, in Odessa.

Visitation will be on Friday, May 30, 2014 from 6 pm to 8 pm at Sunset Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 2 pm, Saturday, May 31, 2014 at Latter Rain Worship Center at 305 E. 19th St. with Reverend Craig DeArmond officiating and assisted by Reverend Cliff DeArmond. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens of Odessa.

Patsy was born in Coleman, Texas to the late Andrew Jackson Bell and Martha Frances Jamison Bell on February 27, 1942. She married Orbie Lee Edson on January 7, 1961 in Odessa, Texas. Patsy graduated from Odessa High School in 1960.

Patsy is preceded in death by her husband of 43 years, her parents, one grandson, Jeremy Wade and two brothers, Jackie and Roland Bell.

Patsy is survived by her two daughters Deidra and husband Thomas Snider of Odessa, Texas and Cora and husband Donnie Jerkins of Rosenburg, Tx., brother Jerry Bell of Monahans, Texas, sisters Linda Spann of Amarillo, Texas and Mary Williamson of Leander, Texas, grandchildren Colby Wade, Andria Olson, Ashley, Chase and Clayton Jerkins, Joe Snider and Keri Reed, great grandchildren Emorie, Morgan, Logan, Cayden, Colten, Cailynn, Hunter, McKenzie and Cody.

Memorials or donations may be made to The National Kidney Foundation, The American Diabetes Association or The Latter Rain Christian School.
