Patsy Lewis

Patsy Lewis, wife, mother, grandmother, and friend passed away on June 5, 2015.

Patsy was born on May 5, 1932 in Seminole, Oklahoma to Mary Ann (Sutton) and Andrew Jones.

Patsy was raised and attended school in Kansas. She graduated high school in Kansas City, Kansas where she was chosen "Most Popular" by her senior classmates. After graduation, she moved to Snyder, Texas with her sister. While in Snyder, she met and married R. P. Lewis, the love of her life. They moved to Odessa to follow the oil industry.

In Odessa, they had three children and began their own business, Lewis Casing Crews, where Patsy worked for many years. Patsy also loved spending time with her family, traveling, collecting antiques, shopping, cooking, and taking care of her beloved dog, Belle.

Patsy is survived by two children, LaDonna Weaver and husband Paul, and Patrick Lewis and wife, Mary. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and six great grandchildren, which were always the light of her life.

Patsy was preceded in death by her parents, her husband R. P. Lewis, her son Franklin Whitt Lewis and two sisters, and two brothers.

Patsy was an extremely generous and classy lady, but fiercely independent as well as being beautiful and spiritual. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Patsy was a Christian and a member of Northside Baptist Church. Services will be held to honor this gracious lady and to celebrate her life on Monday, June 8, 2015 at 1:00 PM at Sunset Memorial Gardens Chapel with Pastor Clydel Chapman, officiating. Graveside services will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
