Paula Wright

Paula Ruth Wright, 74, of Odessa, passed away on 5/31/2022 in Odessa.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Thursday June 9, 2022 at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 612 E. 18th St. Odessa, TX with Rev. Fr. Bernard Getigan officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.

Paula was born in Dallas, TX to Thelma and Paul Shaffer on JDec. 17, 1947. She went to school in Odessa and graduated from Permian High School. She married Bobby D. Wright Sr. on Dec. 19,1965 In Odessa. She worked at Montgomery Wards and was an office assistant for Nurses Unlimited.

A beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend who loved to entertain.

Paula is preceded in death by her parents, sisters, Linda Stewart, Ann Bowen and brother Paul Shaffer.

She is survived by her husband of 56 yrs. Bobby Dean Wright Sr., son, Bobby Dean Wright Jr. and his wife Candel, sister-in law Phyllis Koehl ; 2 grandsons, Quinton and James, 2 great-granddaughters Joniee and Coda, numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
