Peggy Blair

Peggy Maye Blair, 86, of Odessa passed peacefully on January 1, 2017 at Medical Center Hospital after a lengthy illness.

Visitation is scheduled from 6:00-8:00 p.m., Thursday, January 5, 2017 at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home.

Funeral service is scheduled for 1:00 p.m., Friday, January 6, 2017 at Sunset Memorial Funeral Chapel with Bill Hall, officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.

Peggy was born in Baird, Texas on May 30, 1930. She married RL Blair in 1950 and moved to Goldsmith, Texas in 1960. She graduated from Odessa College & Sul Ross University with a Master's Degree and began teaching in 1973 at Goldsmith Elementary. Peggy also taught at Fannin Elementary and retired from Barbara Jordan in 1997.

Peggy is preceded in death by her husband in 1997.

She is survived by her son Bob Blair & his wife Paula, 2 grandsons, Heath Blair & wife Catalina, Brandon Blair, 4 great grandchildren, Taylor 16, Jovial 9, Beckham 7, & Evie 5, all of California.
