Peggy Haller

Peggy Masey Haller, 84, of Odessa, Texas, passed away on Saturday, January 28, 2023, in Odessa, Texas.

Visitation will be Tuesday, January 31, 2023, from 5:00 PM-7:00 PM, at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, February 1, 2023, at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home with David Newton of Crossroads Fellowship officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Arrangements are by Sunset Memorial Gardens and Funeral Home.

Peggy Jean Masey was born in Sweetwater, Texas, to Calvin and Martha Masey on October 21, 1938. She moved with her family as a child to Odessa. She married Leonard “Mitchell” Haller on August 27, 1955, in Odessa. She graduated from Odessa High School in 1956. She worked as a cashier at Sears & Roebuck for a number of years. She then worked as a secretary for Commercial Radio.

Peggy is preceded in death by her husband, Mitchell Haller; her parents, Calvin and Martha Masey; and her sister, Nancy Wilson.

Peggy is survived by her son, Sherman Haller and wife Robbi; daughter, Michele Pierce and husband Charles, all of Odessa, TX; brother, James Masey and wife Barbara of Wichita Falls, TX; grandson, Bailey Haller and wife Carly of Odessa, TX; granddaughter, Jennifer Shipman and husband Bret of Leander, TX, grandson, Scott Pierce and wife Chrisha of Fort Worth, TX, grandson, Blake Haller and wife Nicole of Odessa, TX. Peggy had 7 great grandchildren, Emaleigh and Remington Shipman, Sawyer and Sutton Haller, Charlotte and Maddie Pierce, and Emma Haller.

Pallbearers will be Bailey Haller, Blake Haller, Scott Pierce, Bret Shipman, Remington Shipman, and Sawyer Haller.

Memorials may be given to Crossroads Fellowship to benefit the RETRO class.
