Philip Caudle

Philip Newton Duke Caudle went to see his Lord on May 4, 2008. Phil was born in Odessa, Tx on November 12, 1948. He graduated from Lee High School in 1967 and attended Texas Tech University. He served his country in the United States Army and then attended Angelo State University. He owned Electric Motor Service in Midland until1989, and then worked for Smittys Radio Lab and was a substitute teacher with Midland Independent School District. Phil was a Deacon at Memorial Christian church and participated in Christmas in Action.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Bettyesue Caudle and his brother Paul Caudle.

He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Gail Braungardt Caudle; His daughters Lora Caudle Kirkpatrick and her husband John of Frisco, Kati Caudle Korner and her husband Wes of Midland and Cari Caudle Nickell and her husband Mike of Roswell, NM; Three sisters, Rayann Zant, Freda Kinsey and her husband Clyde, Lynn Brown and her husband Jerry; Four grandchildren, Zachary Nickell, Reagann Kirkpatrick, Canlyn Korner, and Kendall Korner and numerous nieces and nephews and friends.

Pallbearers : Claude Stewart, Mike Nickell, Juble Brown, John Kirkpatrick, Jeremy Brown and Wesley Korner.

Phil was a loving husband, father, brother, uncle, and friend. He was dearly loved and will be greatly missed. Family requests in lieu of flowers please make donations to Hospice of Midland.

Services will be held on Thursday May 8, 2008 at 1:00 p.m. at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Terry Ruthermich officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.

Arrangements are under the direction of Sunset Memorial Funeral Home.
