Claude Phillip Vincent, 74, passed away Friday, December 8, 2017 in Odessa.
Memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 12, 2017 at Cumberland Presbyterian Church with Reverend Dr. Jimmy Braswell officiating.
Phillip was born June 10, 1943 in Shamrock, TX and was the beloved husband of Brenda Vincent. Phillip was the son of Jack Phillip and Lora Elizabeth (Burges) Vincent.
He is predeceased by his parents Jack and Liz.
Phillip was the hero to his children, Shanna Beach and her husband Pat, Brady Vincent and his wife Wendy, Chad and his wife Jodi, his precious grandchildren Parker James, Tanner Blalock, Austin and Baylee Vincent; beloved brother David and his wife Vicki, Geonne Franklin , Joe and his wife Carol, and Bynum and his wife Joni. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, his wonderful host of friends, especially the "lunch bunch" and his wonderful and cherished staff of Images Ink & Image Embroidery, especially Sarah and Lenore.
Phillip earned the Soldier of the Year of all of Europe during the Vietnam War. He was a member of the High Noon Optimist, Boy's Club, Golden Gloves, Coach of many baseball teams, and was unforgettable to people he met. Phillip was a huge source of comfort to many people. He was also the owner and operator of Images Ink & Image Embroidery for 41 years. Phillip was a lifelong Presbyterian and current member of Westminster Presbyterian.
