Phyllis Johnson

Phyllis Johnson, PJ age 76, of Odessa went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, August 23, 2011 in Bedford, Texas.

Phyllis was born September 28, 1934 in Grove City, Pennsylvania to Raymond DeWitt Hosack and Edith Rebecca Young Hosack. While in Pennsylvania she attended Grove City High School and also Grove City College.

Phyllis married R.E. Dick Johnson on Saturday, February 2, 1957. Phyllis and Dick made the courageous decision to move their family to Odessa from Grove City, PA in 1975, where they resided and raised their family. PJ was the owneroperator of PJs Printing Service from 1978 2010.

PJ was preceded in death by her husband, Dick, in 2010. They celebrated 53 years of marriage.

Those left to cherish PJs memory are her four children: Stephen Johnson of Boling, TX Darla Tamez of Richland Hills, TX Julie and Billy Townsley of Bedford, TX Molly and Andrew Rohane of Colorado Springs, CO. Phyllis was also the proud grandma of seven grandchildren and G.G. to four greatgrandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, August 26, 2011 at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home.
