Phyllis Meadors

Phyllis Ann Meadors, age 72, of Odessa, TX, passed away on July 31, 2017 in Odessa.

Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 pm, Tuesday, August 8, 2017 at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home.

Funeral Services will be at 1:00 pm, Wednesday, August 9, 2017 at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Paul Thompson officiating. Burial will follow at 3:30 pm at Rankin Cemetery in Rankin Texas.

Phyllis was born April 27, 1945 to Margery and Judson Suber in Henderson, TX, where she was raised and educated. While attending East Texas Baptist College she met and later married Bill Meadors on September 3, 1965. Her and her family moved to West Texas in August of 1976. She was an avid reader and especially loved mystery novels. She loved gardening and growing all sorts of plants. She was the green thumb in the family. She loved spending time with her family and friends. She will truly be missed by all that knew and loved her.

Phyllis is preceded in death by her parents, Margery and Judson Suber, her loving husband, Bill Meadors and her son, Nathan Meadors.

She is survived by her sons, Anthony Meadors and wife Tywilla of Odessa, Judson Meadors and wife Noe of Odessa, TX, brother, Harold Suber of Ore City, TX, sister, LaDonna Thigpen of Port Lavaca, TX, step brother, John Taylor and family of Odessa, TX, daughter in law, Tiala Salinas of Odessa, TX; grandchildren, Forrest Meadors, Hunter Meadors, Elizabeth Meadors, Donya Meadors, Temperance Meadors, Zechariah Meadors and numerous nieces and nephews.
