Polly Fern Clark Felkins, 83 of Odessa passed from this life on 12/28/2017.
She was born December 12, 1934 in Morton, Texas to Paul Hayden and Maye O. Clark. Polly met her husband Louis Felkins in Morton, Texas where she lived.
He was employed on an oil rig for A. W. Thompson Drilling Co. The rig moved to Lovington, New Mexico where Polly & Louis married in 1952. They were married
for 65 years. They moved with the rig to Odessa, Texas in 1953 where she lived for 63 years, except 18 months when she lived in Puerto Rico while husband
worked for Kewanee Oil Company. Her son Louis D. Felkins was born in Puerto Rico. She attended Morton High School, and Odessa, College. She was employed
driving a school bus for ECISD for ten years, worked at Postelle Rod Service ten years, and worked 30 plus years in their family business of a West Odessa mobile home park.
She was preceded in passing by sister: Mary Joyce Baker Hughey, brother: Pastor Paul H. Clark Jr., sister-in-law: Janice Bailey Clark, Son: Noah David Felkins;
Grand-daughter: Candace Danielle Hoyt, many cousins, aunts, and uncles.
She is survived by her husband Louis Felkins of Odessa; sons Louis D. Felkins of Odessa, and Clifford D. Felkins of Lubbock, Texas. Three daughters and son-n-laws:
Dr. Barbara Felkins Stanley & Jimmy of Austin, Texas; Mary Felkins Dye & David of Odessa, Texas; Carol Fern Felkins-Hoyt & Alan of Odessa, Texas.
Grandsons: Jeremy Felkins & Sharon, Joshua Felkins, Jared Hoyt, Dakota & Brittany Hoyt of Odessa, and Sean McCullough of Spring. Granddaughters: Misty & Justin Ballard of Odessa,
Christine Vail & Daniel Hail, Cassidy Vail & Travis Norwood of Big Spring, Melissa & Derek Kreutzer of Round Rock, Misty & Mike Hernandez, Patti Bolton Villanueva & Alex, Amber Felkins Gray & Oliver of Odessa.
Great-Grandchildren: Katelyn, Justin Ballard; Carson Millsap, Jayden Hail; Logan, Westin Norwood; Brady Bolton, Xandra, Matthew Garza; Alicia Ochoa, Coby, Rainy, Anthony Hernandez;
Braxton, Aubreigh, Calleigh Hoyt; David, Madison, Gracie Felkins, & Autumn. Nieces, nephews, cousins: Lana Turner of Calif., Ricky Butts of Corpus Christi, Kathy & Bill Poe of San Angelo,

She belonged to the church of Jesus Christ made up of all born again believers. She wrote, I am writing this obit in the flesh knowing that when I pass from flesh I still live.
Visitation will be come and go.
Funeral services will be 10:00 AM Thursday, January 4, 2018 at Sunset Funeral Chapel with Pastor Humberto Porras, officiating. Burial to follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
