Preciliano Carranza

Preciliano "Preci" Carranza, 33, of Odessa, passed away Saturday, May 16, 2015 in Odessa.

Rosary will be at 7:00 pm, Wednesday, May 20, 2015 at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home.

Funeral Mass will be at 10:00 am, Thursday, May 21, 2015 at St. Mary's Catholic Church with Father Hilary Ihediaha officiating.

Preciliano was born on March 2, 1982 to Israel and Sarah Ann Carranza in Lubbock, TX. In the mid 1980's he moved with his family to Odessa, and in the late 1990's he went to work in the oil fields of west TX. He was currently a driller for Can Nelson Drilling. Preciliano was a loving father, son and a well loved family member and friend to all.

Preciliano is preceded in death by his brothers, Israel Carranza Jr. and Ermidio "Ermi" Carranza.

He is survived by his parents, Israel and Sarah Carranza; his daughter, Kimberly Alisa and son, Branden Daniel Carranza; sister, Teresa Martinez, her husband Johnny and their children, Eleana Zapopum and Inocente Lilliana Carranza.
