Ragan Richardson

Ragan Christine Richardson, of Odessa, passed away suddenly on Sunday, July 31, 2022. She was born September 2, 1999, in Midland, Texas, to Teresa Setliff Richardson. She graduated from Permian High School in 2018, where she was a talented member of the Panther Paws dance team.

Ragan was a devoted mother to her daughter Emersyn “EmJay,” and she was the joy of her life. She was a beloved daughter, sister, niece, cousin and friend and lit up every room she walked into. She was a source of encouragement to her friends and family. She was loyal, hard-headed, caring, loving, beautiful, and kept those she loved entertained with her goofiness and fun spirit. She had a big heart and was always there for her friends. Ragan will be deeply missed, and we will cherish the memories we have of her.

Ragan is survived by her daughter, Emersyn “EmJay” Jayde Ross; her mother, Teresa Setliff Richardson; her brother, Austin Farmer, Savanah and their children; and her sister, Amanda Richardson, and husband Josh Suchil. She also leaves behind her grandma, Judy Setliff and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her grandpa, Granville “GW” Walker Setliff.

Funeral arrangements are being handled by Sunset Memorial Funeral Home in Odessa. The viewing will be Tuesday, August 2, 2022, from 6PM-8PM. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, August 3, 2022, at 10:00 AM at Crossroads in Odessa.
