Randy Lummus

Randy Lummus, 65, of Sundown, TX passed away Saturday, January 30, 2021 at MCH in Odessa, TX.

Graveside Services will be held at 10:00 AM, Wednesday, February 3, 2021 at Sunset Memorial Gardens.

Randy worked in the oilfield for thirty-seven years, after retiring he went back to work. He worked at Hobby Lobby and he loved it. He loved meeting new people and helping out in any way he could.

He and Janet met in November of 2004, and just a few years later, they were married on the anniversary of their first date, November 9, 2008.

Randy is preceded in death by his father, Oscar Theron Lummus, Jr., and his mother, Vera Mae Copley.

Randy is survived by his wife, Janet Lummus; his son, Jarrod Lummus and wife Ivana Lummus of Alabama; his daughter, Noel Hefner of Whitney Texas; his stepdaughter, Tausha Glidwell; and his stepson, Nathan Glidwell; his sister, Brenda Thompson and husband Dale Thompson of Denver City, Texas;  and his brother, Larry Lummus and wife Lisa Lummus of Odessa, Texas. He is also survived by his five beloved grandchildren, Derek, Lukas, Prezley, Hayes and Hayden.

Pallbearers will be Jarrod Lummus, Larry Lummus, Mark Lummus, Joe Lummus, Derek Hefner, and Tom Slattery.
