Raul Sanchez

Raul (Raulo) Sanchez, 53 of Odessa, TX went to be with our Heavenly Father on December 14, 2020.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am on Tuesday December 22, 2020 at Odessa Christian Faith Center with Pastor Don Caywood, officiating. Arrangements are by Sunset Memorial Gardens & Funeral Home.

Raul was born on June 29, 1967 in Alpine, TX to Petra Sanchez. He graduated in 1985 from Midland High School and attended Midland College.  He married the love of his life Yvonne A. Sanchez. They have been happily married for 28 years and together they happily raised two beautiful children Aryssa and Alex. He owned his own Plumbing and Air Conditioning Company. He was a loving husband, father, brother, uncle and friend. He enjoyed spending time with his family, grilling, golfing, hunting, going to Las Vegas and loved going to the National Finals Rodeo. He loved listening to Tejano and Country music but especially enjoyed dancing with his wife. He was the life of the party and he never met a stranger and enjoyed talking to anyone. He will be greatly missed. God’s purpose for him was fulfilled and is now rejoicing in the Lord’s presence.

Raul is preceded in death by his mom Petra Sanchez, brothers Rudy S. Portillo, Ben Sanchez, Joe Garcia and Enrique Garcia.

Raul is survived by his wife Yvonne, his children Aryssa and Alex, his sister Florinda S. Gomez, husband Liric, sister in laws, Nena Portillo, Verna Sanchez, Letty Sarabia, husband Daniel, Celina Aranda, brother in law Arthur Aranda, wife Milissa, brother Eleuterio Garcia Jr., wife Elsa, sisters Catalina G. Loving, husband David, Sylvia G. Molina, husband Manuel Diaz, Manuela G. Puga, husband Mike and JoAnn Garcia, husband Tommy Stoglin and many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Michael Napoles, Christian Munoz, Jacob Munoz, Aaron Aranda, Aaric Aranda, Chad Matthews, Raymond Mancha and Damien Valenzuela.

The family wishes to extend our sincere thanks Dr. Garcia and staff of MCH, family, friends and colleagues.
