Ray Davis

Ray Lee Davis, age 61, of Odessa, TX, passed away on January 23, 2017 in Odessa.

Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 pm, Thursday, January 26, 2017 at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home.

Funeral Services will be at 4:00 pm, Friday, January 27, 2017 at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Deacon Mike LaMonica officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.

Ray was born November 5, 1955 to Tommy and Johnnie Stembridge in Bakersfield, CA. Adopted by Harvey Davis and Lee Davis in 1965. He graduated from Balmorhea High School in Balmorhea, TX. He married Janice Falgout on February 20, 1977 in Odessa, TX. He worked over 40 years in the oilfield industry for various service companies and was currently working for EXL Petroleum.

Ray loved his Family, Dallas Cowboys, Nascar, BBQ's, Fish Fry's and especially fishing. He loved to travel and fish wherever he was. That was his idea of a great time, bbqing or fish fry's with friends.

Ray never met a stranger. He was a good hearted man that would give you the shirt off his back. He will be truly missed by all that knew and loved him.

Ray is preceded in death by his parents, five brothers, and his sister.

He is survived by his wife, Janice Davis, his two daughters, Shana Keith, her son Bryson Keith and Nina White, husband Rusty White, their four kids, Caitlynn Cordle, Zachary Cordle, Hunter White, and Brooklynn White. His Brother Joe Stembridge, wife, Lorene Stembridge, Son Ronnie Stembridge and Trey York. Sister June Kimmell, husband Gaylon Kimmell, her son Kevin McQuiston, wife Susan McQuiston. Many Cousins, Aunts, and Uncles.

Pallbearers will be Jim Livesay, Kevin McQuiston, Ronnie Stembridge and Steve Shirk, Rusty White and Donny Susan.

In Lieu of flowers, please send a donation to Complex Community Federal Credit Union in his Grandson's Name, Hunter White, which is fighting Leukemia.
