Ray Tindall

September 8, 1920 — December 11, 2011

From his earthly home and surrounded by his loving family, Ray Tindall went to his heavenly home to be with his Lord and Savior on Sunday, December 11, 2011. He was born on September 8, 1920, in Damascus, Arkansas to Floy Mahan Tindall and James Otto Tindall.

He was preceded in death by his son, Harrell Dean Tindall, his brothers, Willburn Tindall, Milburn Tindall, Glen Tindall, Hayes Tindall and Val Gene Tindall, one grandchild and two greatgrandchildren.

Ray Tindall married Era Altalene Stell on June 8, 1940 in Conway, Arkansas. They celebrated 71 years of marriage in June of this year. They moved to Texas from Arkansas in 1951. He retired from Halliburton after 17 years and was then the owner and operator of AAA Septic Tank Service for 25 years. He was a charter member of Tabernacle Baptist Church for over 34 years.

He is survived by his wife, Era Tindall son, Billy Ray Tindall and wife, Bonnie of Casa, Arkansas daughters, Betty Ruth Ingram and husband, JC Judy Ann Cabral and husband, Charles daughterinlaw, Libby Tindall, all of Odessa his sister Ruth Duncan and husband, Leland of Poplar Bluff, Missouri.

He is survived by his grandchildren: Tammy Adkins and husband, Mark Debbie Barnes and husband, Robbie Shanna Leach and husband, Brandon Tiffany Kelley and husband, Matt Craig Ingram and wife, JoAnn Keith Ingram and wife, Julie Charissa Blattman and husband, Todd Janeen Hartsfield and husband, Lance Harrell Tindall Jr. and wife, Glenna Jacoba Bartholomae and husband, David Lisa Steen and husband, Steve Vaughn Ray Cabral and wife Marlena Julie Brown and husband Chris. His is also survived by 37 great grandchildren and 2 greatgreat grandchildren.

The family would like to give special thanks to Dr. Jayaram Naidu, Irene Tinney, Candy Foster, Christina Dorsett and Lilly Hernandez.

There will be visitation at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home on Tuesday, December 13, from 6pm8pm. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, December 14, at 1pm, at The Sunset Memorial Chapel with Rev. Mark McDonald and Rev.Craig Ingram officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
