Raymond Thomashide

Raymond Thomashide, 77, beloved Father, was called to his eternal resting place on September 2, 2016.

He entered this world on September 24, 1938 in Galveston Texas, born to William Peter Thomashide and Ella Mae Slocum Thomashide.

Raymond was preceded in death by the love of his life Lajuana Faye Thomashide.

He is survived by his 7 children Sabrina Yvonne Thompson, James vernal Thomashide, Melissa Ann Schwabenabuer, Jim Shawn Bradley, Johnny Roscoe Bradley, Angela Dawn Chesney, and Lajuana Irene Huff, 15 grandchildren, and 15 great-grandchildren.

Raymond served in the Army. He spent his entire career in the oil field with a great love of his job, Raymond devoted his retirement to his homestead continually creating an improving his property. Raymond had a special knack for finding Arrow heads, hunting, and fishing, and mostly enjoyed his family. Raymond will be missed dearly as he was one of a kind.

A funeral service will be held on September 6, 2016 at 4 P.M. at Sunset Memorial Funeral Chapel located in Odessa, Texas.
