Refka Sarfaty

Refka Betty Sarfaty, age 89, of Austin, Texas passed away at 5:30 AM Wednesday, March 23, 2011 in Odessa, Texas. She had been residing at a private facility.

She was born July 7, 1921 in Brusa, Turkey to Chaim Molho and Aliza Leah Galanti.

Survivors include her sisters, Zelda Smucha in Jerusalem, Israel, Sarah Gucbilmez in Istanbul, Turkey and her only daughter, Doris Wells of Odessa, Texas.

Graveside services are scheduled for 1:00 PM Monday, March 28, 2011 at Sunset Memorial Gardens with Rabbi Sidney Zimelman of Forth Worth, Texas officiating.
