Reynaldo "Ray" Quiroz

Ray Quiroz, 80, of Odessa, passed away on Sunday, March 26th, 2023, in Odessa.

Memorial services will be held on Saturday, April 15th, 2023, at 3:00 PM, at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church in the parish hall. Arrangements are by Sunset Memorial Gardens and Funeral Home.

Ray was born in Marfa, TX, to Francisco and Irene Quiroz on October 3rd, 1942. He went to school in Odessa. He married Connie Dominguez on August 22nd in Hawaii and had been together for 59 wonderful years. He worked as the business owner of Brakes and Wheels Inc. for 47 years, creating a legacy for generations. Ray was known to be an avid golfer, a superb handyman who could fix just about anything, and overall, a wonderful character in the lives around him. He cherished his family and would go above and beyond for them. He loved them beyond all means.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Francisco and Irene Quiroz.

Ray is survived by his wife, Connie Quiroz; son, Rene Quiroz and wife Andrea; son, Gilbert Quiroz and wife Krista; and daughter, Joy Hernandez and husband Tres; grandchildren, Joah Quiroz, Isabelle Quiroz, Elizabeth Quiroz, Zoe Hernandez, and Gilbert Quiroz; brothers and sisters, Francisco Quiroz and wife Rosalinda, Delia Galindo, Oscar Quiroz and wife Linda, Priscilla Franco and husband Flabio, JoAnn Samaniego and husband Edward, and Nora Fabela and husband Javier.
