Funeral services will be held 1:00 PM, Saturday, March 31, 2012 at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home Chapel, 6801 E. Business 20, Odessa, TX 79762.

Ricky Lee Ragsdale was born in Las Cruces, NM to Krisada Cookston and Coy Pearson. He married Samantha Barker on June 14, 2008 in Abilene, TX. He worked as General Manager of the TownePlace Suites by Marriott for Texas Western Hospitality.

Ricky is survived by mother and father, Krisada and Curtis Cookston and Willie Mae and Coy Pearson. He is survived by spouse Samantha BarkerRagsdale and children Destiny and Kadeyn. He is survived by brother Christopher Ragsdale and sister Carrie Cantwell.

Ricky was a loving father, a wonderful husband, a hard worker, and a loyal friend. He loved cars, traveling and spending time with family. Many will miss him and we will forever cherish the time we had with him. Our hearts break that such a good man has been lost, but take comfort that he is with the Lord.
