Earths Mission Accomplished Saturday, April 20, 2013

On January 29, 1936, in a little farm house in the Buzby community, in Fisher County, Texas, Rita Faye was welcomed by her parents, Virgil Lola Palmer. So.her earthly life began.

On Saturday, April 20, 2013 the last page of her earthly life was turned and Rita stepped into the next chapter.eternity.

Rita attended high school in Roby, Texas and eventually attended and graduated from Aladdin Beauty College, Odessa, Texas in 1978. She worked for Baze Hair fashions as a stylist for 15 years, and later for HR Block.

Walking down lifes pathway, she met her teenage sweetheart, Charles Chism, and on June 23, 1951, they married in Longworth, Texas. Rita and Charles were blessed with 62 years of loving, caring and sharing life together.

First and foremost, Rita was a homemaker, mother and wife. She loved to cook and gather their family and friends for birthday parties and numerous other gettogethers. Fishing camping and hunting were a big part of her life. She enjoyed lots of time looking for the big one, and many times, she found him

Rita was preceded in death by her parents and her brothers, Curtis Palmer and Joe Lee Palmer.

She is survived by her husband, Charles her 3 children, Vernon and wife Roxanna, Fayrene and Stan and wife LaDonna grandchildren, Travis Walters, Traci Walters, Chad Chism and wife Stacy and their son, Zane Clay Chism and Caley Chism and various stepgradchildren and step great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 3:00 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, April 21, 2013 at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, April 22, 2013 at First United Pentecostal Church with Terry Pugh officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be directed to Hospice House.
