Robbie Poor

Robbie Lou Poor, age 83, of Odessa, passed away on March 13, 2017 in Odessa.

Robbie was born March 4, 1934 to Herbon and Bobbie Shamburger in Rising Star, TX. She came to Odessa in the late 1940"s and met and later married the love of her life, Lee Poor on March 30, 1950 in Lovington, NM. She was a self-taught wood carver and loved art, but her true passion was painting. She was an avid fisherman and would go every chance that she had. She enjoyed being a wife and mother and was a friend to everyone she met.

Robbie is preceded in death by her loving husband, Lee Poor, parents Herbon and Bobbie Shamburger and her daughter, Carol Lynn Ross.

She is survived by her children, Carron Shellenberger and husband Butch of Odessa, Larry (Butch) Poor and his wife Beth of Odessa, C.C. Crosby of Odessa, Lloyd Ray Poor and his wife Paula of Imperial, TX, Robbie Lee Davis and her husband Michael of Granbury, TX, 7 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.

Private Services will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the Human Society.
