Robert Bennett

Robert Ray Bennett, better known as Uncle Bob age 79, of Odessa, passed away Tuesday, August 21, 2012 in Big Spring.

He was born February 6, 1933 in El Paso, Texas to Roy and Goldie Bennett.
Bob served 6 years active duty in US Air Force, stationed in England where he married Aileen Atkinson, then divorced. After coming back to the US he lived in Nebraska, California and finally settled down in Odessa, TX where he has lived approximately 30 Years. During that time he has built the reputation of master chef for various restaurants in Odessa.

He was preceded in death by parents Roy Goldie Bennett, also his only son Jeremy.

Survivors include his youngest sister Bettie Tucker, also many nieces, nephews cousins.

Memorial services are scheduled for 1:00 PM Saturday, September 1, 2012 at Sunset Funeral Home Chapel. Final resting place will be in Restlawn Memorial Park in El Paso, Texas.
