Robert Boswell

Robert Grandison Boswell entered the kingdom of God on June 21, 2011. He lived 89 beautiful years. He was born on November 21, 1921 to William and Ethel Boswell in Indianapolis, Indiana. He married Phyllis Ann Matzke on March 30, 1947. She proceeded him in death on June 22, 2001. He is also preceeded in death by his parents and his grandson, Michael Graham. Robert is survived by his brother Harold Boswell of Atlanta, Georgia, four children Dennis Boswell of Fort Worth, Marsha Graham of Odessa, Fred Boswell of Waxahachie, and Patty Stringer of Midland. He was a loving grandfather of seven grandchildren and a greatgrandfather of eleven.

Robert retired from Shell Oil Company in 1980. He loved his church, reading his bible, and playing Golf. He started an organization called the Care Fund and took care of many families in need with food, baby items, medicine and money. He dearly loved serving others. Robert enjoyed eating lunch and visiting with his many friends at the Parks Methodist Retirement Village.

A memorial service will be held at his church home in Midland at Grace Lutheran on Friday, June 24, 2011, at 11 am.
