Robert Lee Dale, Jr., (Bubba), 60 of Odessa, TX, passed away on May 28, 2017 in Odessa, TX

Visitation will be Tuesday, May 30, 2017 from 6:00-8:00 p.m., at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., on Wednesday, May 31, 2017 at First United Methodist Church Fellowship Hall Odessa with Senior Pastor Karin Carlson of First United Methodist Church Odessa, officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens, Odessa, TX. Arrangements are under the direction of Sunset Memorial Gardens & Funeral Home.

Robert was born in Bakersfield, CA to Robert and Lola Dale on May 15, 1957. He attended Mayfield High School in Las Cruces, NM. He married Celeste Moore Grenier on May 18, 1979 in Big Spring, TX. He worked as a Safety Coordinator for Troy Vines, Inc. for two years; previously, 34 years in the petroleum industry. He was an active member of First United Methodist Church Odessa and loved being involved with the Samaritans by Grace Team.

Robert is preceded in death by his father, Robert Lee Dale, brother Charles Wayne Dale, and nephew John Albert Dale, Jr.

Robert is survived by his spouse, Celeste Grenier Dale; daughter Tiffany Marie Wood; son-n-law Aaron Lee Wood; brothers Delbert Ray Dale and John Albert Dale; sisters Judith Kay Melton, LuAnn Daniel and Merry L. E. Rodriguez; mother Lola May Dale; granddaughter Claire Elizabeth Wood; grandson Christian Lee Wood and numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be John Dale, Aaron Wood, Alan Melot, Doug Mathis, James Overton, and Ron Overton.

Memorials may be given to The American Cancer Society.
