Robert Emery Dickman

Robert Emery Dickman,78 yrs, of Gardendale, Tx, passed away on Sunday, December 22, 2024, at Medical Center Hospital in Odessa, Tx. 

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM on December 27, 2024, at Sunset Funeral Home, with the Pastor James Bishop of Calvary Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Arrangements are by Sunset Memorial Gardens and Funeral Home. 

Robert “Bobby” was born in Flagler, Colorado to Emery and Edna Dickman on March 31, 1946. He spent his early years in Colorado, and then the family moved to Odessa, Texas, where he was a proud graduate of Odessa High School. He married the love of his life Patsy Matthews Dickman in Gardendale, Tx. Robert worked for Concho as a consultant of work over rigs. He served his country during the Vietnam War and served in the U.S. Army. 

Robert is preceded in death by his father and mother, Emery and Edna Dickman; sister, Judy Dickman Cooper; and daughter, Melissa Dickman Burleson. 

Robert is survived by his wife, Patsy Matthews Dickman; son, Robert Jr. (wife) Rebecca Dickman; son, Terry and (wife) Leslie Bennett; daughter, Latricia and (husband) Glen Rollo; sister, Sally Hensley and (husband) Tony Roye; brother, Micheal and (wife)Elaine Dickman; brother, Kirk and (wife) Peggy Dickman; brother, Larry and (wife) Joy Dickman; brother, Jimmy and (wife) Lynn Dickman; grandchildren, Jake and (wife) Bailea MacMurdo, Haley MacMurdo, Shelby and (husband) Dalten Faulkner, Audrey Dickman, Hannah Bennett, Emily Bennett, Matthew Lopez, and Cameron Anton; and 7 Great Grandchildren. 

Pallbearers will be Sam Soto, Fred Kemper, Jake MacMurdo, Carter MacMurdo, Hayden MacMurdo, Cameron Anton, Matthew Lopez, and honorary pallbearer Maddox MacMurdo.
