Robert Wayne, "Uncle Bobby", Riggs of Odessa, TX went home Sunday, February 17, 2019.

Uncle Bobby was born in Odessa, TX on April 1, 1956. A genuinely kind soul who loved his family unconditionally, he devoted his life to being a selfless caregiver to his parents. He helped raise a multitude of nieces and nephews ranging in age from 18 months to 52 years. He was always ready for any adventure with his "kids". An avid reader, Bobby always had a book with him wherever he went. He was always willing to lend a hand to anyone in need. His kindness and generosity will live on through the lives of the people he touched.

Uncle Bobby is preceded in death by his parents, Stephen and Bessie Riggs; his brother, Billy Riggs; sisters, Lorene Zorn, Bonnie Awbrey; nephews, Levis Awbrey, Hunter Moses, and Daniel Cobos.

He is survived by his sisters, Betty Baker of Oklahoma, Lois Riggs of Mt. Pleasant, TX, Joyce Flowers and Carol Riggs, both of Odessa, TX; his brother, Donnie Riggs of Kerrville, TX; an extensive list of nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and Bentley, Fischer, Colter, Cooper and Victoria.

Pallbearers will be Cory Racca, Wes Tull, Trey Flowers, Warren Flowers, Cody Davis and Garrett Brannan.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Bentley Miller, Fischer Moses, Victoria Tull , Colter and Cooper Racca.

Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 PM, Friday, February 22, 2019 at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home.

Funeral Services will be at 1:00 PM, Saturday, February 23, 2019 at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Rene Phillips officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
