Robert E. Trotter, 88, of Odessa passed away Saturday, December 30, 2017 in Odessa.

Funeral service will be at 1:00 pm on Friday, January 5, 2018 at Sunset Memorial Funeral Chapel. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.

Robert was born in Rockwall, TX on August 6, 1929 to Robert E. Trotter, Sr. and Ruby Coleman. Robert graduated high school in 1948 and served in the United States Army from 1951-1956.

Robert is preceded in death by his parents Robert Edward and Ruby Coleman, wife Patricia Jean and daughter Cynthia Anne.

Robert is survived by his son Robert M. Trotter of Odessa and brothers Melvin Trotter of Weatherford and John Trotter of McKinney.

Arrangements are under the direction of Sunset Memorial Gardens & Funeral Home.
