Roberto Garcia, Sr.

Roberto R. Garcia, 76 of Odessa, TX passed away on January 4, 2021 in Odessa.

Funeral services are scheduled for Tuesday January 12, 2021 at 1:00 pm at St. John Episcopal Church with Pastor Ricardo Lopez officiating.  Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.

Roberto was born in Nueva Rosita Coahuila to Cresencio and Anita Garcia.  He was a floor hand for the pulling units.  He was a loving father, grandpa, and great grandpa.  We are all going to miss our “Papi Gil”.  He loved watching boxing and loved to travel.  He mostly loved being surrounded by loved ones.

Roberto his preceded in death by his parents Cresencio and Anita Garcia, his wife Maria de los Angeles, his brother Ignacio Garcia and sister Virginia Garcia.

Roberto is survived by his daughter Ana Margarita and her husband Manuel Ramos, son Roberto Jr. and his wife Lolita Garcia, daughter Doralicia and her husband Cesar Hinojosa, daughter Graciela and her husband Elias Vasquez, son Andres and his wife Victoria Garcia and 29 grandkids and 17 great grandkids.  He is also survived by his sister Margarita Gonsalez and brother Abraham Garcia.

Pall bearers will be Andrés García, Jr., Billy Ramírez, Rigo Ramírez, Roberto García, Jr., Andy García, José de Jesús García, Ray García, Jesús Hernández, Cesar Hinojosa, Omar Hinojosa, Mike Ramos, and Eric Ramos.

Arrangements are under the direction of Sunset Memorial Gardens & Funeral Home.
