Roger Masse

Roger Russell Masse, age 70, of Odessa, Texas passed away on Saturday, August 11, 2012 in Odessa.

Roger was born in Woonsocket, Rhode Island to Henry Masse and Delvina Menard Masse on March 1, 1942. He went to school in Woonsocket, Rhode Island where he graduated from high school. He married Patricia Louise Jones on March 4, 1983 in Odessa, Texas. He worked as a safety manager for Saulsbury Industries for 10 years after retiring from Brown and Root. He was a veteran of Vietnam and served in the Army.

Roger is preceded in death by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Masse sister, Theresa H. Pelissier his brothers, Andre A. Masse, Normand L. Masse and Lionel Masse.

Roger is survived by his wife, Patty son, Shawn and his wife Carice Windham sister, Gloria Duguette grandchildren, Kinley, Kamille and Taylor and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be 57 PM Tuesday, August 14, 2012 at Sunset Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM Wednesday, August 15, 2012 at Sunset Funeral Home Chapel with pastor Clydel Chapman of Northside Baptist Church officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.

Pallbearers will be Mark Saulsbury, Dick Saulsbury, Wayne Pritchard, Larry Molinar, Quinton Kelly and John Higgins.

The family of Roger wishes to extend our sincere thanks to Dr. Khandelwal, Dr. Kaczar, employees of West Texas Oncology and Home Hospice of Odessa.
