Roland Lambright

Roland Lambright, age 68, of Odessa, passed away Sunday, May 8, 2011 in Odessa, Texas.

He was born April 15, 1943 in Rusk, Texas to Grandville Wallace Lambright and Mary Lou Looney Patterson. He married Margaret Brown July 23, 1965 in Odessa. He was an electrician for 4Way Electric for 20 years then he was self employed in the Heating and Air Conditioning business for 30 years. He was a member of Belmont Baptist Church.

He dearly loved his wife, daughters, grandkids, great grandkids and his special Little Man Paul. He never met a stranger and loved to talk to anyone that would listen.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Patterson, father, Grandville Lambright, and brother, James Michael Lambright.

Survivors include his wife, Margaret daughters, Cindy Lambright of Odessa, Sheila Hunt and husband Todd of Odessa, and Sherrie Battaglia and husband Marc of Lubbock his grandchildren, Shawn and wife Nikki, Stephen, Ashley, Chelsea, Joshua, and Makenzie his great grandchildren, Cheyenne, Paul, and Dakota sisters, Audrey Nell of Grand Prairie, Shirley McKinney, Betty Adcock, Hazel Elder and husband Jim, all of Odessa brothers, David Lambright and wife Lynn and Mike Lambright, all of Odessa two sistersinlaw and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation with the family will be 68 PM Wednesday, May 11, 2011 at Sunset Funeral Home. Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00 AM Thursday, May 12, 2011 at Sunset Funeral Home Chapel with Larry Hood officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens.
