Ronald "Ronnie" King

Ronnie King, age 78, loving husband to Evelyn King, father, and grandfather, passed away peacefully on Friday, March 11, 2022, Odessa, Texas.

Ronnie was born on May 2, 1943, to Edward and Sybil King.  After graduation, Ronnie enlisted in the United States Army and was honorably discharged on October 3, 1972.  After being discharged from the Army, he worked at Jones Pontiac and Bronco Chevrolet.

In his free time, Ronnie enjoyed riding motorcycles, working on cars, watching Nascar races and as of late, building his electric model trains, swimming, and lounging with his dogs Baxter and Elliot.  Ronnie was a member of Life Change Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife, Evelyn King; her son, Phillip Roberts; his daughters, Rhonda Lindley and husband Josh, and Tori Lange and husband, Cody; son, Paul King, and wife Angela; grandchildren, Avery Lindley, Corby Lindley, Ainsley Lange, Kobe Geiss and Kellyn Geiss; brothers, Rodney King and wife Virginia, and  Monte King and wife Tonya; sister, Trudy Maxey; Nieces, Rochelle Mayfield, and Amy Ramirez; nephew, Anthony King; and sister-in-law, Beverly Farmer.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
