Ronnie Bolen

Ronnie Joe Bolen, age 70, of Odessa, TX, passed away on August 30, 2018 at his home in Odessa.

Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 PM, Tuesday, September 4, 2018 at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home in Odessa.
Graveside service will be at 10:00 AM, Wednesday, September 5, 2018 at Sunset Memorial Gardens, with Reverend Dr. Jimmy Braswell officiating.

Ronnie was born in McCamey, TX, to Betty Gay Bolen, on August 26, 1948. He grew up on King Mountain and attended school in McCamey. He married Eva Lee Perkins on December 24, 2002, in Las Vegas. Ronnie worked as a compressor mechanic for over 40 years. He was a veteran of the United States Army.

Ronnie had a passion for riding motorcycles and drag racing, and he loved doing so.

Ronnie is preceded in death by his wife, Eva Lee, his mother, Betty Gay, and grandparents, Floyd and Emma Bolen.

He is survived by his 3 daughters, Cheri Phillips and husband Corey of Odessa, Kina Atencio of Fleming Island, Florida, and Coral Day and husband Robert of Odessa; 2 brothers, Lonnie Watson and wife Pam of Odessa, William "Bucky" Watson and wife Rachel of Arlington; grandchildren, Cole, Elizabeth, Briar, Izabella, Taylor, Clint, and Kyle; and many nieces and nephew. He will be missed by all.
