Ronnie Chad Burrows came into this world on June 18, 1972 and left it to be with his Lord on May 14, 2011.
Chad was born in Odessa and lived here all of his life. He attended Odessa Christian School, Nimitz Junior High School and Permian, graduating in 1990. Chad attended Odessa College and UTPB. He was a Christian man and a member of Sixth and Jackson Church of Christ, where he attended all of his life.
Chad was always a larger than life guy and he loved deeply. He loved his family and friends, and he had so many. Whether his classmates or his teammates on Permians 1989 160 state and national championship football team, Chad loved them all. He also loved music, movies and most of all, fun. His loud and infectious laughter will be a fondly held memory for us all.
He worked several years at Strike It Rich Bingo and ten years at the drag strip in Penwell. He was currently working as a senior pipeline inspector with Chesapeake Pipeline in Carrizo Springs, Texas.
Everywhere he went he extended his circle of friends and family. Chad married Amy Blakeman in May 1995. They had three beautiful daughters that he was very proud of.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather the late Norman Burrows of Eldorado and on Monday, May 16, 2011, following his death, by his grandmother, Louise Burrows. He was also preceded by his grandfather, Bill Kelsoe of Avery, Texas.
Chad will be missed by and survived by his three daughters: Bailey, Scout and Kellen Burrows and his ex wife, Amy Burrows his parents, Ronnie and Kathy Burrows, his sister Kelly Burrows Wenger and her husband Jimmy, his niece and nephew, Hannah and Carson Wenger. Chad is also survived by his grandparents, Jack and Jacque Kenner of Odessa his uncles and aunts: Judy Elizabeth Shannon, Jack and Carmen Kenner, Larry and Teresa Burrows, Donnie Burrows, Linda and Greg Faubion, Billy Kelsoe, and Robert and Angie Kelsoe. And cousins: Cody Lyon, Stacy and Tobias Shannon, Katie and CJ Shannon Jacob, Caleb and Camille Kenner Brent Kim, and Bryan and Brandon Burrows. Chad also left behind his very special cousin, Tacy Hicks.
Visitation with the family is scheduled for 68 PM Thursday, May 19, 2011 at Sunset Funeral Home. Services will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, May 20, 2011 at Sunset Funeral Home Chapel, with Lynn Money officiating.
